Meet Frame - The Framebreaker Joins The Rumble

Meet Frame, RDR’s newest Dodger, a technical fighter from Rawalpindi built around manipulating timing, redirecting throws and taking a second shot.

A new Dodger is entering the Rumble.

Meet Frame - The Framebreaker, the sixth playable fighter in Retro Dodge Rumble.

Frame is a calculated, timing-focused Dodger inspired by Rawalpindi, Pakistan. While other fighters overpower, deceive or overwhelm their opponent, Frame is built around controlling when and where an exchange happens.

His kit lets experienced players manipulate the ball itself, create extra time under pressure and even take back a failed Ultimate attempt.

A Different Kind of Control

Frame is designed for players who enjoy reading the opponent and making deliberate decisions.

He does not rely on raw speed or overwhelming power. Instead, his abilities give him opportunities to manipulate trajectory, timing and possession.

Used correctly, Frame can turn a predictable exchange into something the opponent has to read all over again.

Trick - Frame Lock

Frame Lock can be activated on Frame's own Normal or Jump Throw while the ball is travelling.

The ball slows dramatically and Frame temporarily stops moving while selecting one of eight directions.

As soon as a direction is chosen, the ball immediately launches in that direction at its original speed.

The opponent can still catch the redirected shot, and a poor redirect can even send the ball back toward Frame himself.

Frame Lock is not a guaranteed hit — it is another opportunity to outthink the opponent.

Treat - Frame Advantage

Frame Advantage gives Frame additional decision time against an incoming hostile ball.

When activated, the incoming ball temporarily slows down, giving Frame more time to read the situation and decide how to respond.

He can catch it, evade it or reposition depending on the incoming threat.

The ability does not remove the danger. It simply gives Frame something he values more than almost anything else:

time.

Ultimate - Retake

Frame's Ultimate, Retake, gives him something no other Dodger currently has:

a second attempt.

Frame throws his Ultimate normally. If he believes the shot is going to miss, he can activate Retake while the projectile is still valid.

The same ball returns directly to Frame's hand.

He then has a short window to reposition, choose a new timing and manually throw the Ultimate again.

No automatic replay. No second ball.

Just another chance to make the shot count.

The Framebreaker

Frame is intended to reward players who understand RDR's deeper mechanics — spacing, reactions, catches, positioning and timing.

His abilities create opportunities, but the player still has to convert them.

He doesn't overpower the exchange. He makes it happen on his time.

Frame is currently being tested and balanced as Retro Dodge Rumble continues through late alpha.
